CERAMIC TILES

Ceramic tiles are hard, durable, and versatile tiles made from natural clay, minerals, and water. "ceramic" comes from the ancient Greek word "keramos," which means pottery or fired clay. These tiles are crafted by shaping and compressing the clay into desired shapes and then firing them at high temperatures in a kiln to harden and strengthen them.

Ceramic tiles are available in a wide range of sizes, colors, patterns, and finishes, making them suitable for various applications in both residential and commercial settings. They are commonly used for covering floors, walls, backsplashes, and countertops in kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, and other areas of a home or building.

PORCELAIN TILES

Porcelain tiles are a type of ceramic tile known for their exceptional durability, water resistance, and versatility. Like other ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles are made from a mixture of clay, minerals, and water, which is then fired at very high temperatures to create a dense and hard material.

The key characteristic that distinguishes porcelain tiles from other ceramic tiles is their low water absorption rate. Porcelain tiles have a water absorption rate of 0.5% or less, making them highly resistant to water, stains, and moisture penetration. This property allows porcelain tiles to be suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, including areas with high moisture levels such as bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor patios.

MARBLE TILE

The embodiment of luxury in the modern bathroom. They are a costly but luxurious option with a finish like nothing else. The downside is they are very expensive, and it takes great care to maintain their finish as they are more susceptible to scratches and stains than other types of tile.
